Use Casino War to make some easy money at Sun Vegas!

It appears that Sun Vegas just updated their T&C on 6/18/06 to discount Casino War. Don't do this bonus right now until I get an update. It appears that Casino War can only be used towards 25% of the WR.

When we found out about this technique from the guys at OBG, we were skeptical. But when we ran the math on it, it turned out to be worth doing, especially with how easy it was.

What do I need?

$40 in a Neteller account that you can lose if you run unlucky. While statistically it is unlikely, it is still mathematically possible that you could run badly and go bust. We will be using their live chat service on this one to make sure you have cleared the 15X WR.

Let's Get to it

This one is very different from the other blackjack based bonuses in that blackjack isn't allowed to clear the bonus. One game that IS allowed is Casino War. It is very similar to the War game you used to play as a kid, where you and your opponent both deal a card, and high card wins. The game you played as a kid is a game with 0 house edge, but the casinos had to tweak it so they could make some money from it. They did this by manipulating the payouts when you and the dealer have the same card and "go to war." Long story short, this game has around a 3% house edge, which is 6 times higher than blackjack, but if the WR is low enough and the bonus high enough, it makes sense. The Microgaming software they run also has an "autoplay" functionality which makes this worth doing for sure since you don't even have to grind it out by hand.

The current bonus Sun Vegas has is 150% up to a maximum $60 bonus. This means if you deposit $40, they give you $60, so you will have a total of $100 to play on. This casino manually processes the bonuses so it takes 5-8 hours for them to put it into your account. For the strategy we are about to describe, make sure you wait until they credit the bonus to your account before you begin playing. If it hasn't automatically gone into your account by 8 hours after deposit, use their "Live Chat" support to ask about the bonus. Also, before anyone else asks, they have a clause in their Terms and Conditions that players must play in the currency of their home country, if it is available. So no playing in pounds for US players to increase the bonus.

Once the bonus gets credited, you will have $100 sitting in the account. This is the fun part. Go into the game called "Casino War" and make sure you are in "expert" mode. Once you are in expert mode, a button called autoplay appears. By clicking on this button a screen will pop up asking how many hands you want to play. You can use the default strategy they provide since it is optimal. Since there is a 15X(B+D) Wagering Requirement on this bonus, you have to play $1,500 worth of wagers to clear the bonus. The maximum number of hands you can play at one time using autoplay is 500, so normally that would mean 3 sets of 500 each. It actually ends up being a bit lower than that due to the fact that when you tie with the dealer and go to war, you have to put up another bet, which counts towards your WR. I recommend doing 2 sets of 500, then 4 sets of 100. You can then use the live chat to ask them how much you have wagered. Make sure to make the bet only $1 each hand. With the small amount of your bankroll on this one, you don't want to bet any higher, and with the autoplay, there isn't a reason to. It should take about 15 minutes for each set of 500 hands.

In about 45 minutes, you should have somewhere between $50 and $90 left which you can promptly cash out. The EV on this one is 60-($1500*.03) which is only $15, but it is so easy, there is no reason not to do it. Besides, you might run lucky like me and cash out for $110. When I did this one, I bought in on May 22nd at 7 PM, cleared the bonus and it was back in my Neteller May 25th at 9:24 PM.
